Most anyone who was near a newspaper or connected to a news service on their computer this past week is aware that Apple computers made several announcements... on Tuesday (October 4) they announced the next model of the iPhone - Apple's Smart Phone, as well as new features and 'more affordable pricing' for the iPod Touch and iPod Nano.
Though there are many Apple fans who expressed displeasure that the company did not unveil the long awaited iPhone 5 - I agree with others who assert that there are a good deal of enhancements with the iPhone 4S to make it a worthy consideration.
In addition to a processor that makes the new device roughly twice as fast as the iPhone 4 there is 1080P video recording and the ability to seamlessly operate under the forthcoming iOS5 - with all it's promised enhancements.
Siri - for example - is an app that will be integrated inside the iPhone 4S and I can tell you this is a really cool tool! I was using Siri as a stand-alone app more than a year ago and love it -- with it's integration to the new iPhone and access to other applications and functions, that will be a very useful addition!
