There's a great newer post on the MacroSystem US website that shows the relative speed/performance of different models of the Casablanca Digital Video Editors. Why I think this is great as some folks have been asking me just how fast will the newer S3000 and S6000 models be. Now you can see! The only Generation II models listed on the chart (models running the Smart Edit OS) are the Solitaire Plus and Renommee Plus which are in the far right column.
You can see, according to these results posted by MSUS, that the new S3000 and S6000 are quite a bit faster, faster even than the S4000 PRO

Note: All of these are close estimations and based on an average from several repeated renders. Some rounding was done to the nearest second. Note: Some variance of actual render times was seen based on the kind footage used. More complex attributes in the effects or movingfootage might add a few seconds of rendering time.
